It's elegant and at the same time trendy, it's vibrant and at the same time historical...... That's because Mini Restaurant and Bar offers a unique venue right next to one of the most beautiful and important churches and tourists sites of Hungary, St. Stephen's Basilica. From spring to autumn you can take a seat on the terrace to admire the panorama offered by the church and the surrounding St. Stephen's Square. During the winter, you can warm up inside and still feast your eyes on the lushly illuminated architectural wonders. Mini offers a choice of the best mediterranean and international dishes, but of course traditional Hungarian meals are offered as well. Whether you're in for breakfast, a business lunch or dinner, you will have much to choose from whenever you come. Our wide range of cocktails is well known, we can satisfy you whatever your taste may be. You will be served by our polite and trendy staff to make the time spent at us even more perfect. With its elite looks and an intricately arranged interior it is the ideal venue where corporate events, press conferences and even family celebrations can be held.

We visited the Bazilika so we just wanted to have a great conversation after the exhausting trip. We went to Negro bar which is at the mouth of the Bazilika. It was crowded a bit when we got there but it had a nice atmosphere. We all like whiskey so we drank about 4-5 rounds. That was the perfect end of this day. In my opinion Negro bar is one of the best bars in Budapest.

One Saturday night we found ourselves in Negro, originally we just wanted to see the Bazilika by night but on the square in front of the church there were so many people and so many places with calling terraces for outdoor seating that we couldn’t resist. So Negro is right beside the Bazilika you can take a nice walk and get there if your accommodation is in the city center. It’s a nice little pub, a kind of pre-party place full of young people who start from here to their next ’stop’. It has a terrace so if the weather is nice I couldn’t think of another place better for a drink the view is so fantastic. This place is visited by quite a variety of people, young and elder, many tourists, business men and locals as well. If you are in Budapest you will surely bump into this place and if you do so, have drink there. Believe me, it’s worth it!
