I was at Minyon in winter, as I know they opened somewhen around that time. For me this is just the right place, at least I like it very much. The music is also just the right one, not the simple techno that is played everywhere else, and the company is also very good, lots of students, a bit like a university club. What I also really liked was the location. As it is in the City, it is comfortable to access, even by walking.

It’s my kind of place. We went downtown; we were on Ferenc Liszt square where you can find several places with a terrace for outdoor seating. Then we took a walk back to the hotel in Király Street where we spotted Minyon. It’s not so showy from the outside this might be the reason why this place is visited mostly by local young people and not so many tourists. The crowd there was very varied both age group-wise and taste-wise ranging from university students to business men but that is exactly why I liked it that much. Music was quite diverse as well; the prices were just at an acceptable level. I definitely think it’s worth a try if you are in Budapest.
