I was on a business trip in Budapest and my college told me about P2 Club & Restaurant so I went there fot a lunch. The place's design was just amazing. It has two levels, the strip club is downstairs and the restaurant is upstairs. I was alone so I paid for some extra company for my lunch. One of the girls from the club had lunch with me. It was az amazing experience. I've enjoyed her company the whole time. She was very friendly with me. The meals were fantastic. All of them were delicious. I had goulash soup for starter, just to try some hungarian traditional food. I ate portugal fish for main course and I had chocolate soufflé for dessert. Unfortunately, I had to finish my lunch quickly, because I had a negotiation in the afternoon. I decided to come back at night, to meet the girl I ate with, in the strip club. It was an unforgettable night in my life.

I visited this place two days ago. I was headed for the club, because I heard from several places that this is the place that every visitor to Budapest simply must see. Anyway that’s true, because I had a great evening. But I didn’t want to write about that part, just about the restaurant segment. You can tell that it’s new. The staff are still getting accustomed to the place, and there was no crowd yet, and regardless, the main profile of the Place is obviously not the restaurant, but erotic entertainment. In any case it was just that which got my curiosity up. It’s so rare for a place like this to have a state-of-the-art, fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Well you can still tell it’s new, but that’s only natural. I’d recommend a few modifications to the lounge upstairs, of course by the way of accessories, but I I bet time will take care of that. The thing that requires an explanation, though, is the quality of the food. Everything I tried was absolutely fantastic. I could taste the preparedness of the chef, and not just in the unsurpassable quality, but in the compilation of the menu, as well. The waiting staff were a bit uncertain, but they did their utmost, and they were always attentive and saw to my every wish. They’ll get the hang of it in a couple of weeks, but I really appreciate their attitude and I can’t say a word against them, really. I personally predict a great future for this little restaurant and I think, if they don’t lover their standards, it’ll be a lasting success. I can wish them the best of luck with a clear conscience, with more and more guests and challenges in the years to come!

The other day I paid a visit to a place that just opened, the Palace Lounge Restaurant. As I said, this is a totally new restaurant and club, so I really didn’t know anything at all about it. I thought I’d give it a try, and anyway there’ve been comments popping up about this club, and they’ve all been positive. I thought that before I visited the club, I’d combine it with a pleasant dinner. At the worst, I guessed that if the food was no good, then I could always just go straight to the club next time. Well, let me tell you, that’s not the way it turned out — the place was fantastic! It’s divided into two levels. The restaurant is upstairs, the club downstairs. The decor is really trendy. It meets today's requirements from the standpoint of both design and comfort. I loved the food, too. You can find international dishes in addition to the Hungarian flavours. I had prawn soup for starters, which was especially delicious, and then I decided to take the plunge into Hungarian cuisine, choosing goose liver pate, a local speciality, and I have to say it was unforgettable. I picked chocolate soufflé for dessert, which is my favourite anyway, but this one takes first prize. I hope this level of care and fantastic quality aren’t just the result of beginner’s enthusiasm, and that they’ll keep it up, because I like to come back here often and enjoy comparable culinary experiences. Thanks, Palace Lounge, best of luck and see you real soon!
